Two debuting professionals step into the cage in the penultimate bout of the evening at AD Academy 2.0, but their skill, savvy, and toughness make them anything but novices. Daniel From takes on Jan Richard “Hitman” Joreid in a lightweight tilt that promises a furious pace and heavy exchanges.
From, representing Nakskov MMA, Denmark, will have the crowd firmly behind him when he makes the short trip to Guldboxen. A high-octane striker with a chin seemingly carved from granite, From thrives at kicking range, chopping away with leg kicks before blitzing in with punches. Though he once preferred to keep the fight standing at all costs, recent performances suggest a growing comfort in grappling exchanges – even showing flashes of offensive wrestling in his latest amateur outing against Daniel Lindén. Compact and durable, From’s ability to absorb punishment and keep pressing forward makes him an incredibly tough man to discourage.
Joreid, fighting out of Spartacus MMA in Vennesla, Norway, enters his professional debut with a deep well of amateur experience – including multiple appearances under the Cage Warriors Academy banner. Training alongside standout prospect Torpal Merjoev, Joreid has developed into a dynamic, multi-dimensional competitor who can adjust his approach depending on the matchup. He fights comfortably from both stances, strings together long combinations, and isn’t afraid to punctuate exchanges with spinning kicks. His guillotine choke remains a threat to anyone shooting in carelessly, while his clinch work features crafty trips and throws that can catch opponents off guard.
Both men are known for their relentless pace and toughness, making this a co-main event built for nonstop action. From will look to set the tone early with volume and pressure, while Joreid may aim to mix things up to keep his opponent guessing. The Dane’s durability should make this a long and grueling fight – he thrives in deep water – but Joreid’s broader arsenal could give him more ways to win. With both men holding wins over a common opponent in Lindén – From by decision, Joreid by second-round TKO – this matchup feels like a natural next step. Expect high output, grit, and momentum swings in what could easily steal the show on fight night.
