Saturday’s main event pits two surging Scandinavian talents against each other, as elite Muay Thai striker Mikkel Lund takes on dangerous all-rounder Jan Richard “Hitman” Joreid at lightweight. Originally scheduled to face different opponents before injuries reshaped the card, both men step into this high-stakes clash eager to build on the momentum from their professional debuts last year.

Lund (1-0) brings striking credentials rarely seen at this level of MMA. Fighting out of Mikenta in Albertslund, Denmark, the former Scandinavian MTGP champion with more than 90 fights is a true master of the art of eight limbs – threatening opponents with sharp punches, elbows, knees, and kicks, complemented by relentless clinch pressure.

Among his most notable achievements is a knockout victory in Muay Thai against the current ONE Championship star Nico Carrillo. Comfortable both pressing the action and countering off the back foot, Lund pairs composure with clear killer instinct. He made a strong MMA debut at Airtox Dominance FC 4.0 in August, where he showcased his evolving grappling game by submitting Aleksander Virtanen via first-round rear-naked choke.

Joreid (1-0) enters the cage with extensive amateur experience, including multiple appearances under the Cage Warriors Academy banner. Representing Spartacus MMA in Vennesla, Norway, training alongside standout prospect Torpal Merjoev, he has developed into a dynamic, adaptable fighter who thrives on aggression and volume.

Fluid in his stance switches, Joreid maintains a high pace, strings together long combinations, and isn’t afraid to punctuate exchanges with spinning attacks. His guillotine choke remains a constant threat, while his clinch work features well-timed trips and throws. He made his professional debut at AD Academy 2.0 in November, submitting Daniel From in the opening round in a performance that mirrored Lund’s own debut statement.

The paths to victory are clear. Lund will look to keep the fight standing, where his pinpoint precision and technical edge should shine – particularly through body work and clinch exchanges drawn from years of Muay Thai competition. Joreid is dangerous on the feet, but he could benefit from mixing in takedowns, using his broader MMA experience to test Lund’s developing ground game. Emotionally, the stakes are high for both. Lund has spoken of the honor of receiving a main event spot after just one MMA fight, embracing the nerves and the moment. Joreid, meanwhile, wants to silence another hometown crowd and establish himself as one of the elite lightweights on the roster.
