It’s been a long time coming, but at AD Academy 2.0, fight fans will finally get the showdown between two of the Airtox Fear Nothing Tournament’s most talked-about contenders, as Lewis Ndzana Chebu and Habibul “No Mercy” Dombaev battle for a coveted spot in the semifinals.
Originally scheduled for Airtox Dominance FC 4.0 back on September 20, the matchup was postponed due to Ndzana’s participation in the 2025 IMMAF World Championships in Tbilisi, Georgia. Now, with both men back in camp and firing on all cylinders, the long-awaited clash is at long last upon us – with the winner set to meet the impressive Rida Jawad at Airtox Dominance FC 5.0 on January 10, 2026, in K.B. Hallen.
Ndzana, representing Hammers Team in Nürnberg, Germany, brings a wealth of experience for his age, boasting more than a dozen amateur bouts and a background in kickboxing. Known for his speed and explosiveness, the German-Cameroonian southpaw threatens opponents with devastating kicks to the head and body. He switches stances effortlessly, while his forward-pressure style and physical strength in the clinch make him difficult to control or take down.
After capturing the German Amateur Championship last year, Ndzana made his Airtox Dominance debut at AD Academy 1.0 with a thunderous knockout of Aleksandr Potehhin – a performance that instantly made him one of the favorites in the tournament. With IMMAF Championship experience and a decision victory against Danish prospect Oliver Petersen – a result that continues to age well – Ndzana has established himself as one of the region’s most exciting strikers.
Dombaev, training out of MT Gym 23 in Vienna, Austria – home to elite talents such as UFC veterans Mairbek Taisumov, Aleksandar Rakic, and Ibo Aslan – represents the next wave of fighters emerging from Eastern Europe. The Chechen-Austrian lightweight is best known for his relentless grappling and control, combining powerful takedowns with suffocating top pressure. When he gets opponents to the canvas, he keeps them there. Still, his striking remains an underrated weapon – he carries real power in his hands and can mix in flashy kicks to keep opponents guessing.
In his Airtox Dominance debut at AD Academy 1.0, Dombaev dominated Daniel Lindén on the ground for two rounds before hurting him with a brutal body kick and finishing with ground-and-pound – a statement performance that cemented him as a genuine contender in the tournament.
This matchup pits two rising prospects against one another in a fascinating clash of styles. Ndzana is the more seasoned striker – fluid, explosive, and dangerous at all ranges – while Dombaev brings the kind of grappling intensity that can smother even the most dynamic opponents.
Expect an intense and fast-paced fight, with Ndzana looking to establish his kicking game, and Dombaev trying to close the distance to unleash his power and set up level changes. Both men are proven finishers and have shown composure under fire making this one of the most intriguing bouts in the tournament so far. Neither fighter will back down easily, with the winner moving one step closer to the 50,000 DKK grand prize.
